I used to think that there was a right way to dress. My favorite designer was Carolina Herrera and I've been a shameless J.Crew devotee since I was 12. You get the picture. Then my world was changed by my new favorite designer, Haider Ackermann. His use of patterns and textures along with his unique way of layering is genius. In my eyes, his garments marry the look of a Samurai, an early 90s grunge rocker and a pirate. The result is one of the best aesthetics in the industry.
