Amy Winehouse and Billie Holiday.
Two of my favorite singers who both contend for the number one spot on my list of favorite singers are also two women whose potential was never reached due to troubled personal lives. Even so, their unique talents can't be ignored and shouldn't be forgotten. I hope you like them as much as I do because you'll be seeing them often here!
